DANA D. HUFFMAN
For nearly 25 years, Dana Huffman has worked with municipalities in various roles. Dana Huffman grew up in the City of Richardson and is proud to serve the community with her private law practice over the last two decades.
Additionally, she has donated hundreds of hours of volunteering in the areas of legal education, anti-bullying programs in schools and animal advocacy.
A representative list of cities that she has worked with in the past and present are Balch Springs, Carrollton, DeSoto, Fairview, Ferris, Glenn Heights, Lucas, Murphy, Princeton, Red Oak, Rowlett and Waxahachie.
EDUCATION
Dana Huffman is a product of Richardson public schools, graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.

Dana has also completed the state required training for a mediator from Baylor University School of Law in conjunction with the McClennan County Dispute Resolution Center.
CERTIFICATIONS & AWARDS
Dana Huffman has completed multiple training including the training required by the State Bar of Texas to serve as a guardian in legal proceedings.
In addition to her years of training, Dana Huffman has been published by and lectured for the Texas Municipal Court Education Center under programs by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.
Along with Ms. Huffman's years practicing law, she has also received a traffic safety award from the Department of Public Safety for her work with municipal courts. Finally, Ms. Huffman is a member of the Pro Bono College of Texas for her work with animal rescue and advocacy groups.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Dana Huffman has a passion for animals and has used her time to volunteer thousands of hours for animal rescue organizations and served 8 years on the City of Richardson Animal Advisory Commission. She has also volunteered for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and speaks at schools about anti-bullying programs. With any time left, Ms. Huffman likes to visit the golf course chasing the ever elusive hole in one!
